Gaeko Unveils His Reason On Choosing Rap Monster For New Song

K-pop fans might be knowing the recent news related to BTS's Rap monster being featured in Gaeko's new single "Elephant." But, little do fans know the actual reason about why the BTS leader is casted in the upcoming track. New reports regarding the song have come up which note of why the Dynamic Duo member, Gaeko, was so interested in casting Kim Nam-Joon aka Rap Monster in his new single, which is releasing April 5 at noon KST.

According to Gaeko's statement, he has always admired Rap Monster's voice and tone. He further noted of Nam-Joon's enthusiasm and energy while rapping in his songs, which is why Gaeko felt of partnering with him in his new song, as cited by Soompi. After two years, Gaeko has announced his comeback through the new song titled "Gajah" (which means Elephant) and BTS's Rap Monster is featured in it. Gaeko's agency Amoeba Culture shared a teaser for the upcoming song as well. Other than this, Rap Monster had also announced via Twitter about his collaboration with the Dynamic Duo member. For that, he shared two pictures of Gaeko and himself on his social media account, reported AllKpop. 

Rap Monster has a successful career when it comes to K-Pop, which is why his collaboration with Gaeko could help the latter to get back in the Korean music industry once again. Nam-Joon, who has an IQ of 148, has been the leader of BTS since the boy group's starting days.

Moreover, he has his own solo albums as well which have been up in the K-music charts for many times. Rap Monster is also noted to be fluent in English and Japanese besides Korean. On inquiring about how he achieved fluency in English, he quoted that he had a lot of help from the American sitcom "Friends" giving him the English knowledge he has today.
