Both of Nintendo's latest console offerings - the NES Classic and Nintendo Switch have become the company's best-selling game platforms as of late. The consoles were so popular among gamers that it is a constant scenario that these two are always out of stock in both physical and online retailers. Hence, whenever a there is a restock, long lines of would-be buyers will ensue.

The most recent was Best Buy as they announced on March 29 that there will be a restock of both Switch and the Nes Classic. Moreover, the retailer forwarned gaming folks that it won't be that long before their stocks run out as they only have limited supplies. True to their word, the stocks went out as quick as they came, Polygon reported.

If the current trends are to be based, it is predicted that the demand for both Switch and NES Classic will be at a record high during the Holidays this year that it is likely to exceed the supply. In a statement obtained by Hothardware, GameStop CEO Tony Bartel stated that the demand for the Nintendo Switch is "incredibly strong" that whenever there is a restock, the console is out within hours.

Nintendo president and COO Reggie Fils-Aime, on the other hand, expressed his delight with the awesome reception that the Switch has been getting lately. Moreover, he revealed that "The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild" has been recently hailed as the fourth highest rated title in video game history. He went on saying that they have "turned the industry on its ear" and felt a sense of pride to be part of a company that does it on regular basis.

In Japan, reports suggest that the Nintendo Switch sales have nearly doubled that it surpassed sales of both the new 3DS XL and Sony's PlayStation 4. Watch a clip about the console here:
