‘StarCraft: Remastered’ Gets A Summer Release With Improved Audio, Visual Experience

"StarCraft" which is a megahit computer game has been upgraded and this will be released this summer. The game has been redesigned intended for ultra-high definition resolution and it has been confirmed by Blizzard Entertainment last Sunday.

This upgraded StarCraft will improve the audio and visual experiences including the game's network-play features. Even if it has been upgraded, this will not affect the original balance of the game play.

Gamers have higher expectation out of this "StarCraft: Remastered" as they hope they this will revive the professional tournaments and the e-sports league. The game has been popular for almost 19 years already and it gets an upgraded version this summer as per Korea Times.

Blizzard CEO Mike Morhaime said that the company is modernizing the audio and visual of the original games as well as its online support. With this, players can surely enjoy and take advantage another 20 years of this game and even beyond. He visited Korea for the 19th anniversary of the game.

The "StarCraft: Remastered" will be released this summer as mentioned and it will be available both for Mac and Windows systems. However, the cost for this has not been disclosed yet as reported by Express UK.

With regards to the improvement of the game, the company started to redesign StarCraft 18 months ago. It has been explained that the purpose for this was to rebuild the classic game without the need to change the main and original features of the game.

Blizzard Entertainment also said that the upgrade of the game will support Korean language along with other 12 ore languages. Apart from this, the "StarCraft: Remastered" will also be available in new UHD illustrations which is in line for the campaign missions for the original game. It can be recalled that the original game was made for 640 by 480 resolution and 256 colors.

The "StarCraft: Remastered" will also be compatible with "Battle.net" multiplayer platform which is anchored for enhanced social communication and match-making features. Moreover, the old version of the game will have an update next week and players can download this free of charge online mas confirmed by the company too.
