Nintendo NES Classic stocks may still be sparse but fans may treat themselves to a slice of nostalgia with Funstock's "NES/Famicom: A Visual Compendium." The book features two of the best-selling consoles of their time along with content from the "Ex-Rare" graphic artist Kevin Baylis and Official Nintendo Magazine's Steve Jarrett. In the meantime, other online retail stores are set to restock the Nintendo NES console soon.

It should be noted that the "NES Visual Compendium Book" is an unofficial Nintendo tribute. The compilation features iconic artwork and design associated with both the Nintendo NES and the Famicom. The book boasts over 500 pages of the best pixel art, product design and box art associated with each system, DailyStar UK reported.

In addition, over 100 game reviews including the Nintendo NES are also included in the book along with double-page game maps. Additionally, software features, artist and developer interviews are also featured in the book covered in a 3D lenticular cover.

The book also features mini features that focus on unreleased games, packaging as well as fan art. The General Manager of Funstock.co.uk also noted that the book features gaming favorites like "Mario" and "Zelda" all for the price of £24.99.

In other news, the recently launched Nintendo Switch, as well as the Nintendo NES Classic Edition, are in huge demand. On this note, GameStop, GAME, and Amazon are all set to restock soon. The Nintendo President Tatsumi Kimishima has already apologized for the shortage in supply and noted that some parts need more time to obtain, Mobi Picker reported.

The Nintendo NES Classic Edition packs favorite titles such as "Super Mario Bros." and "Dr. Mario". Furthermore, other pre-installed titles such as "The Legend of Zelda," "Donkey Kong," and "Balloon Fight" are also included in the console. In addition, note that because of a new mod, the Nintendo Mini is now offering more than 700 games. Check out more about the NES coffee table book in the video below:
