Google Nexus 5X Stocks: Android 7.1 Nougat Equipped Device At Its Lowest Price Ever
Google Nexus 5X by LG is now being offered at a low price of $229 over at eBay. The model comes packed with a 12MP rear camera and the Android 7.1 Nougat out of the box. In addition, note that developer preview versions for a number of the latest officially supported Google hardware including the Google Nexus 5X are now available.
It should be noted that this is the lowest price the Google Nexus 5X has ever been in some time now, Android Headlines reported. Take note that the deal is for a new model and not a refurbished model or a used one, making it an even better price for the Google Nexus 5X smartphone. Announced back in 2015, the Google Nexus 5X has been noted as a mid-range smartphone from Google and LG.
The Google Nexus 5X comes out with a 5.2-inch 1080p display and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor. The device also packs 2GB of RAM and a choice of either 16GB or 32GB of internal storage. Note that the offer is for the 32GB model that may not be expanded as there is no microSD card slot available in the device.
In terms of the camera, the Google Nexus 5X sports a 12MP camera on the back. Furthermore, the Google Nexus 5X packs a 2,700mAh non-removable battery. Note that the device continues to be supported by Google with software updates as well as security updates for another year or two.
In other news, the first part of 2017's version bump known as the Android O was recently announced. Moreover, the developer preview versions will be available for the Google Nexus 5X and the Nexus 6P along with the Pixel, Pixel XL, Pixel C and the Nexus Player Android TV setup box, Android Police reported. The latter is the big outlier here since it is almost three years old and being officially discontinued.
The Google Nexus 5X and the Nexus 6P generation as well as the Pixel C all hail from late 2015. Note that the Nexus 9 tablet and the Nexus 6 phone, still being supported as of Android Nougat, will not be part of the program. In addition, note that the releases are not part of the wider Android Beta program. Watch a review of the Google Nexus 5X below:
