The Marvel Cinematic Universe has a very tight schedule indeed with all the upcoming featurettes on queue not to mention that the ambitious "Avengers: Infinity War" has begun filming. Among the highly anticipated MCU films is the third Thor installment dubbed "Thor: Ragnarok."

"Guardians of the Galaxy" director James Gunn has early on stated that the yet to be released teaser for "Thor: Ragnarok" could be the best Marvel trailer to date. Gunn's statement seems to fit in the bag albeit the fact that it hasn't been shown yet as new photos and artistic renders of the upcoming film have surfaced recently.

New concept art for "Thor: Ragnarok" featured both Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) and Thor in full battle gear inside a jam-packed arena as if they are waiting for their next challenge. Prior to such, actors Chris Hemsworth, Cate Blanchett, and Tessa Thompson were at a recent cover photo for Entertainment Weekly as the three donned their Thor, Hela, and Valkyrie get-ups respectively.

It is noteworthy to mention though that the golden braided hair of the protagonist was trimmed down to a shorter do. The new look of the Asgardian Avenger made fans and Marvel pundits believe that "Thor: Ragnarok" could be the start of a new era for Odinson, according to Screen Rant. Furthermore, it can be observed that most of the promotional photos of the upcoming sequel do not feature Thor's hammer - the Mjolnir that stirred more fan theories.

For the uninitiated, Jane Foster is the new Thor in the comic books while the Asgardian prince is now deemed as an unworthy courtesy of Nick Fury's "Gorr was right" whisper in the "Original Sin" event. As of late, Odinson wields the Ultimate Mjolnir and now calls himself "War Thor."

Aside from the above-mentioned actors, Jeff Goldblum (Grandmaster), Tom Hiddleston (Loki), Anthony Hopkins (Odin), Idris Elba (Heimdall), and Karl Urban (Skurge) will also be part of "Thor: Ragnarok" and being directed by Taika Waititi. The sequel is slated to be released on November 3, Flickering Myth reported. Watch a leaked (and blurry) teaser of "Thor: Ragnarok" from the 2016 San Diego Comic-Con:
