The four neighborhood friends of tvN's "Reply 1988" held a mini-reunion two years after the series went on air. The lead male cast proved they have become good friends. The former drama co-stars Park Bo Gum, Ryu Joon Yeol, Go Kyung Pyo and Ahn Jae Hong met together again recently at a party.

According to allkpop, the four leading men of "Reply 1988" met up together for what seemed to be a housewarming party. Ryu Joon Yeol, who played the character of Kim Jung Hwan in the 2015 series, posted Monday on Instagram what he described as "the official photo wall of a housewarming party." The photo captured the four men sitting together, looking cozy and smiling at the camera.

The four actors also traveled together to Africa for tvN's travel reality show "Youth Over Flowers," according to Soompi. The "Youth Over Flowers" staff surprised the actors by whisking them away to Namibia on the last day of their "Reply 1988" reward trip in Phuket, Thailand on January 22, 2016. Park Bo Gum, Ryu Joon Yeol, Go Kyung Pyo and Ahn Jae Hong found themselves on a 10-day trip in the southwestern African country of Namibia and the southern African state of Zimbabwe. Their unplanned escapade was part of the show's fourth season and broadcasted mid-February last year just after the "Youth Over Flowers in Iceland" episode.

"Reply 1988" is the third installment and arguably the most popular of tvN's "Reply" series. Its story revolved around five neighborhood friends and their families in the year 1988. Singer-actress Hyeri of the girl group Girl's Day played the part of Sung Duk Seon/Sung Soo Yeon, the fifth friend and only female member of the group. Park Bo Gum played the character of Choi Taek, a genius Go player who ended up as the husband of Sung Duk Seon/Sung Soo Yeon.
