G-Dragon's fans revealed they have taken to following their idol's laudable footsteps in the past three years. A fansite known as Always GD showed that their idol's stage name could just as well mean Good Deeds. G-Dragon himself is widely known for his generosity when it comes to people in need.

G-Dragon fansite Always GD took to Twitter to upload the list of donations the members have given out in 2013 to 2016. The staggering amount totaled to 130,501,506 Korean Won or $117,072 USD in just a span of three years. The fansite also proudly displayed their affection for the K-Pop superstar as they bragged that they're "like singer like a fan."

According to Omaze, the 28-year-old singer-rapper himself encouraged his fans to help HIV/AIDS patients by donating between $10 to 5,000 to RED charity foundation. The lucky fan chosen from among the donors will have a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to dine privately with G-Dragon in Seoul on an all-expenses-paid trip, given a special tour of the YG Entertainment building and receive a ton of special souvenirs. GD's partnership with RED was held in November last year.

The Big Bang leader also celebrates his birthday as an opportunity to help those in need. When G-Dragon turned 28 last year, he acknowledged that the world was at its most catastrophic humanitarian crisis since recent history and chose to donate 81.8 million Korean Won to the UN Refugee Agency. "I want to be a help to all the refugees who had to flee their hometowns due to civil war and violence," said G-Dragon, according to allkpop.

G-Dragon's fans also made him proud when the fans chose to donate instead of showering him with birthday presents last year. The "Crooked" singer praised his fans for being "amazing," "beautiful" and making him proud when they donated 15,500,000 Korean Won to various charities supported by the singer, including UNICEF. The fans also donated to ALS for his birthday in 2015. G-Dragon donated 81.8 million Korean Won on his birthday in 2014 to patients suffering ALS.
