‘Halo 5’ PC Version Not Happening; Developers Release Statement!

343 Industries has clarified that the "Halo 5" on the PC will not happen yet. A representative has clarified this statement so that there will be no confusion, according to WCCF Tech.

A few days ago, the internet got busy when "Halo" franchise director Frank O'Connor suggested that "Halo 5" could come to the PC in the future. O'Connor also said that it would not be difficult to do if it comes to it.

The 343 Industries franchise director has now come back to the social media to clarify what he said, according to IGN. O'Connor clarifies that there are no plans to launch the game for Windows 10.

O'Connor explains that the statement he has given a few days ago was the same "noncommittal" response he has been saying for years if he was asked about porting the franchise to the PC.

Aaron Greenberg, Xbox Product Manager, has also confirmed that the game is still an exclusive to Xbox One and there is no port for PC, according to International Business Times. He explains that what O'Connor meant was that the company is not dismissing the possibility of the port to PC but for now, there are no plans.

The game will still stay as an exclusive on Xbox One and 343 Industries is resolute about this. Plans for "Halo 5" to be ported to PC however will be in the future, but not soon enough. It might not happen at all, according to sources.

While "Halo 5" on the PC will not happen, the game "Halo 5: Guardians" will still push through its launching which is on Tuesday, Oct. 27. Microsoft and 343 Industries has promised that this is its biggest game and also the biggest launch yet, according to sources. The game will be exclusive to Xbox One only.
