Droid Report shared that Apple might use AMD Ryzen to improve the performance of the upcoming iMac 2017. According to the news outlet, the impressive chip did not only break records in terms of CPU performance as it was also able to exceed the Intel i7.
Reports have it that the upcoming AMD Ryzen is really fit for the iMac 2017 as it can deliver great performance with just a small amount of power. Aside from that, Droid Report has also noted that AMD Ryzen is a total must-have since it is very affordable.
"The RYZEN 7 1800x and the 1700x have thermal design points of 95W as compared to 140W for Intel's i7," Droid Report has reported about AMD Ryzen, which is rumored to be sported by the upcoming iMac 2017. "But the real advantage that AMD's new RYZEN chips will be focused mainly on the cost factor. At just $499, the AMD RYZEN 7 1800x performs better at just half the cost of the Intel i7 that is priced at $1,089."
Meanwhile, MacWorld has predicted that the forthcoming iMac 2017 might arrive in April 2017. According to the news outlet, Apple has updated the number of its imminent products that are scheduled to hit the market this year such as the red iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus, the new 9.7-inch iPad and the much-improved storage variants for the iPhone SE and iPad 4.
