'Agent Carter' Season 2 Cast Kurtwood Smith Confirmed; Other Members Revealed!
Kurtwood Smith and Agent Carter's fans were beyond thrilled as soon as they heard that the actor will be joining the TV series.
Marvel Entertainment revealed that Kurtwood Smith is now included to the upcoming second season of "Agent Carter." He will be portraying as Vernon Masters. Vernon is a War Department's veteran who is very keen when it comes to understanding the system, reported by Hollywood Reporter.
It turns out that Vernon Masters is a new character. MNR Daily stated that Vernon Masters hasn't been told to any Marvel comic book. It was also said that the role was actually created after Kurtwood Smith.
Apart from the Marvel's newest cast addition, they have booked more exciting casts will be joining the gang. They have announced, according to MNR Daily, that Dominic Cooper will be playing Howard Stark, Wynn Everett for Whitney Frost and Currie Graham as Calvin.
Also, Bridget Regan will be playing Dottie Underwood, Reggie Austin for Dr. Jason Wikes, Lotte Verbeek as Ana Jarvis and Lesley Boone will be playing Rose, MNR reported.
Kurtwood Smith and his former bosses from Resurrection and Agent Carter show runners Tara Butters and Michele Fazekas will be, again, working together for the upcoming season of Agent Carter after he has been one of the regular actors of ABC's Resurrection. He portrayed Henry for the said series, Fashion & Style reported.
Moreover, Fashion & Style cited that he also participated in several projects including "That 70's Show" and "Robocop."
Meanwhile, avid supporters said that Kurtwood Smith's character added up density to the upcoming season. Agent Carter season 2 will be filming to Los Angeles where most of Agent Carter's adventures will happen. Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. series will air every Tuesdays at 9pm on ABC. Agent Carter season 2 returns early in 2016.
