South Korean superstar Park Hae-jin has definitely captured the hearts of his Asian fans as he was honored just recently. The Hong Kong arm of Madame Tussauds has unveiled to fans a wax figure of the Hallyu actor in recognition of his impressive work on his craft.

Hae-jin revealed the wax figure himself on Monday, March 13 as a selected number of faithfuls gathered to witness the event. The life-size figure of the actor will be housed inside the famed wax museum and will go on display for three months.

Both Hae-jin and his immobile doppelganger donned the same attire during the occasion as he and the statue wore a navy blue suit paired with a black bow tie. Moreover, the actor even copied the pose of his wax figure where it sits on a stool while holding a bouquet of flowers.

In a statement obtained by Yahoo!, Hae-jin stated that he appreciates all the efforts that Madame Tussauds' team has exerted in making the figure. He added that unveiling the finished work was truly magical and it is as if he is looking through a mirror.

Meanwhile, despite the ban that was imposed by China over South Korean culture, Hae-jin seems to be unharmed by the embargo. In a recent event in Seoul celebrating the completion of the actor's upcoming project - "Man X Man," Chinese media sharing sites Youku and Sohu were also at the event.

For the uninitiated, the Chinese government wiped these sites clean of everything Korean in fulfillment of its recently imposed cultural veto. Going back, both Sohu and Youko interviewed Hae-jin during the event as the latter even went on streaming the occasion, according to Yonhap News Agency as cited by Straits Times.
