BTS runs from a horde of hooded men in "Not Today."

The seven-man boy group BTS (Bangtan Sonyeondan) is just one from a plethora of Hallyu acts that has been doing pretty well both locally and offshore. However, one of their most recent music videos - "Not Today" is under scrutiny as of late now that it has been recently hailed as that fastest rising video for a KPop collective.

Such achievement has caught many critics' attention that some of them have come to doubt such claims and accuse the group of making it all up to boost their bankability as a boy band. Moreover, the said feat that was pulled off by the renowned group has reached big name music publications like Billboard that has been monitoring KPop music activity as well, according to Digital Music News. The latter, however, firmly believes that the massive number of views that "Not Today" MV has been getting are the real deal.

For the uninitiated, BTS' "Not Today" raked in a whopping 12 million views during the first 24 hours. As a result, Billboard deemed it as the fastest rising KPop themed MV not to mention that it also snagged the distinction of "the most viewed video in a 24-hour period." At the time of writing, the controversial MV is currently on the 48 million mark whilst the number of views on its choreography version is at a decent 4.7 million.

On March 13, BTS' Jimin (Park Jimin) was at KBS 2TV's "Hello Counselor" and made an interesting revelation. He announced that he was eager in meeting veteran comedienne Lee Young Ja. Jimin then revealed that back in 1997, Young Ja came to Busan for an event where he and his father came to see.

The then young Jimin caught the comedienne's attention and even carried him. Young Ja, who was also present on the set, stated that she remembered that scene and even jokingly told Jimin's dad during that time that she could raise him as her own, Soompi reported.
