‘Chief Kim’ News: Nielsen Reveals 1.6% Rating Drop But Kim Won Hae Strong Presence Gets Spotlight In KBS 2TV Drama

"Chief Kim's" recent TV ratings suggest a slight drop. The latest report was based on a survey conducted by Nielsen Korea.

According to reports, "Chief Kim" yielded a rating of 16.8 percent, which takes the KBS 2TV drama down to the 8th spot. Based on this, the rating suggests a 1.6 percent decline as compared to the previous episode.

In "Chief Kim's" latest episode, meantime, Namgoong Min was able to completely understand what Junho was planning to do with Jeong Hye-seong's help. Furthermore, they were also able to succeed in keeping Junho from taking part in the meeting of the board of directors of TQ Group. Meanwhile, the TV ratings of other drama were also revealed, which includes "Missing 9" that came in last with 4.0 percent and SBS' "Saimdang: Light's Diary," which was rated at 10.3 percent, Hancinema reported.

Meanwhile, "Chief Kim" star Kim Won Hae is also seen in JTBC's "Strong Woman Do Bong Soon," that despite not having the lead role, has become significant to the stories of the two TV dramas, given his powerful presence and excellent acting. According to reports, his acting earned more attention based on his separate roles in both dramas that are exact opposites of each other.

"Chief Kim" sees Kim Won Hae as the character of Chu Nam Ho, who leads the team of the accounting department. He plays as a powerful supporting role for Namgoong Min's character as Kim Sung Ryong.

Aside from playing an important part in the growth of Namgoong Min's character, Kim Won Hae also relays the sadness of being a "goose father," which is a Korean terminology that refers to a father that works in Korea while his entire family resides in an English-speaking country for the children's education, Soompi reported.
