Enstars reported that cast of the upcoming "Longmire" Season 6 have already started filming. However, the news outlet has confirmed that this is going to be the last installment of the popular Netflix series.
Reports have it that the imminent "Longmire" Season 6 is going to have a total of ten episodes, which are projected to be aired in the later part of 2017. While several fans are very excited to know what are going to happen to Walt Longmire (Robert Taylor), Victoria Moretti (Katee Sackhoff) and Henry Standing Bear (Lou Diamond Phillips).
"While it's good that we will be getting one more set of episodes of the drama, it still stinks that Netflix has decided to discontinue Longmire," Cinema Blend has reported about the upcoming "Longmire" Season 6. "The subscription streaming service is still in its infancy in terms of creating original programs and rarely gets around to cancelling them, although it does happen. We'll have to wait and see if Longmire is the start of a larger trend."
Meanwhile, actress Katee Sackhoff has confirmed that the cast will start filming for the "Longmire" Season 6 on March 22. Posting via her official Twitter account, the leading lady of Robert Taylor has assured fans that she will be present on the first day of their taping for the upcoming sixth installment.
While it remains unclear if there are big twists happening in the forthcoming "Longmire" Season 6, theories have it that Walt and Vic will not be ending up together. Fake news website GamenGuide has even speculated that the characters of Robert Taylor and Katee Sackhoff will be separated in the upcoming installment.
