Twilight Reboot No More: Robert Pattinson And Kristen Stewart Debunks Rumors

The Twilight reboot has been keeping the hopes of its fans high but it appears that it will not happen anymore. Lead actors Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart reportedly stated that the remake will not likely take place because they would want to have more mature roles.

The speculations began when Lionsgate chairman Patrick Wachsberger hints that there is a possibility for the Twilight reboot to hit the cinemas again. Since then, fans all over the world have been hopeful about an official announcement.

"It's a possibility. Not a certainty but it's a possibility. It's about Stephenie [Meyer]. If she wants to tell a story related to those characters we're here for her," quotes Screen Rant. However, the ex-couple said otherwise about the Twilight reboot.

During her conversation with The Times, Stewart said that there could not be another Twilight reboot simply because their fans have also grown up along with the actress. On the other hand, Pattinson allegedly thinks the same way, too.

The actor told Elle France (via Daily Star) that he would love to experiment with other roles rather stick with the image brought by the vampire-themed trilogy. "I hope to awake their curiosity and show them a different vision of cinema. Don't forget that they grow up too." Hence, the possibility of the Twilight reboot might only be a dream to some.

On the other hand, the actors behind the successful film might feel awkward if there should be a Twilight reboot because, we all might know, Pattinson and Stewart had a thing in the past. Furthermore, makers of the original Twilight movie have not yet confirmed the news about the remake as well.
