Debuted in 2013, Bangtan Boys or BTS emerged as the best K-pop group so far. Since their inception, the group has achieved high titles for the K-pop acts on the international stage. The boys' band is the first K-pop group to rank on the top the iTunes chart across 26 countries. The band is the first to gain international recognition through Billboard 200 chart with four consecutive albums. It is also the pioneer to receive more than 10 million views on YouTube within a day.

As per the chart rankings released by Billboard in March, BTS's latest album, "Wings: You Never Walk Alone" appeared 61st on the 200 song's lists. This raised the group and placed it alongside legendary singers like Adele and John Legend. In December 2015, the BTS's "Young Forever Pt.2" ranked 170 in the chart, while in May the song raised to 107th rank and in October 2016, the song was in the 26th position of the chart. This is a significant improvement for the band.

The band's growing popularity even grabbed Donald Trump's attention. The latest President of US also shared favorable tweets for their song "Fire," mistaking them as the Chinese band at that time. BTS's growing success is a rare case for the Korean entertainment industry. Even the top entertainment Korean agencies like S.M. Entertainment and JYP Entertainment were unable to achieve such a massive success in such a short period of time.

The name for BTS might look small, but the powerful performances thrown by the boys were unexpected and mesmerized the entire world.  By captivating millions of K-pop fans, the band is propelling youngsters to forge their talents not only in Asia but across the world.
