'For Honor' Guide: How To Counter Guard Break?
"For Honor" was officially released last week, but the art of combat is yet to be mastered by a lot of players in this unique, competitive fighting video game from Ubisoft. With that, some helpful tips to easily handle the complex combat system of the game may turn the losses into wins.
On the offensive side of "For Honor", players are reminded to vary their attacks to make it difficult for the opponent to block them. Reports also suggest that holding the weapon in one of the three directions, then change it prior to the attack will keep the enemies on their toes.
"For Honor" players may be defeated by a guard break despite continued blocking of the enemy's attacks. Fortunately, the guard break can be countered by pressing the guard break button immediately. However, using the guard break too often is not recommended because the players may not be able to block an enemy's attack while doing the guard break.
Parrying is the best way to beat the enemy, and to parry an attack, players are required to attack in a similar direction where the enemies were able to attack at the exact moment. According to reports, this will prevent the enemy's attack and quickly stagger them, Mashable reported.
"For Honor" players, meanwhile, are reportedly troubled by lag. Given such, it seems that the game's multiplayer brings frustration for a number of players, as reports claim that fights are ruined and matches are disrupted in the online melee fighting game.
Reddit user, in fact, said that "For Honor" is almost unplayable and one would be fortunate to play one whole game out of every three. In fact, another user also claimed that the Orochi in other team is teleporting around the place, Kotaku reported. Watch "For Honor" Review here:
