"The Bachelor" Season 21 featured the events during the hometown dates. In episode 8, Nick Viall visited the hometowns of the final four contenders: Rachel Lindsay, Raven Gates, Corinne Olympios and Vanessa Grimaldi.

As initially revealed through the network's prior press release, "The Bachelor" Season 21 episode 8 featured Nick visiting the hometown of Raven in Hoxie, Arkansas first, where both explored the local traditions and culture. Nick also met Raven's parents and learned of a surprising news from her father.

'The Bachelor" Season 21 also saw Nick visiting Rachel's hometown in Dallas, where the two spent some quality time together. While on a hometown date, they discussed some serious matters about the trials, which they may have to face as an interracial couple. Nick also headed to Miami, where Corrine brought him to exclusive malls. The bachelor was immediately faced with one goal and that was to impress Corinne's protective father and nanny Raquel.

Nick's last itinerary in "The Bachelor" Season 21 was Montreal, the hometown of Vanessa. Nick got to meet Vanessa's special-needs students as well as her family, who is not quite sure how the two would deal with a long distance relationship. "The Bachelor" Season 2 aired on Feb. 20.

Meanwhile, as everyone heads to New York to attend the rose ceremony, "The Bachelor" Season 2 received an unexpected visitor, Celebrity Dirty Laundry reported. Nick's ex from the three seasons of "The Bachelorette," Andi Dorfman, surprisingly appeared at the door with what seemed like a villainous "Hello, Nick" greetings. However, the cliffhanger scene immediately gets cut when a "to be continued" was flashed  on the screen.

"The Bachelor" Season 2 is believed to have included Dorfman in the show, only to offer Nick some advice. Some speculations also suggest that she only appeared to plug her book, and never to ask him to just run away with her, EOnline reported. Watch "The Bachelor" Season 21 Sneak Preview here:
