'House of Cards' Season 5 is going to be back on May. The departure of the series' showrunner stirred rumors that the series will come to an end. However, it has been confirmed that the series will merely get a new showrunner and Frank Underwood would still remain in power. It may take longer for the series to return to the small screen but fans can rest assured that it is going to be back.
"House of Cards'' Season 5 dropped their latest trailer during the Inauguration day and it has been quite iconic. It was revealed that Frank Underwood will be back n May 30. This change is not something to be alarmed about although "House of Cards" used to premiere during February and it has been moved to may this year.
Beau Willimon may have left the show but this does not mean that "House of Cards" will be canceled. There are many reports that the fifth installment would be trashed given Willimon's involvement in movements against Pres. Donald Trump.
Aside from the highly anticipated new episodes of the series, many people are also looking forward to the new faces in the show. Campbell Scott and Patricia Clarkson are bound make their way into the show.

Fortunately, the senior writers of the series Frank Pugliese and Melissa James Gibson decided to be the showrunners starting with "House of Cards" Season 5 which will start airing on May 30.
