NS Yoon-G debuted in 2009, however, her appearance on JTBC's Talking Street let her talk about her personal sentiments and this include why she feels like she's not popular at all.

Also known as NS Yoonji, the K-Pop singer first launched herself as a "star who's been on the rise for 8 years", but has not quite made it to what they call "popularity". She expresses that the first words that go along her name "NS Yoon-G" are frequently The reason she's unpopular" or "Why isn't she popular yet?"

NS Yoon-G also expressed her struggle in satisfying because it seems like despite doing her best, most people would find something to criticize about her. One example that NS Yoon-G had given us her sexy concept, saying that she has practiced for over a couple of months for her album but when she already performed on stage, most feedbacks only talked about criticizing her. Most people, despite appreciating the efforts she has put on, have focused on how little she wore claiming "she looks like she's just keeping her clothes on because she's required to."

Koreaboo also reported that NS Yoon-G has debuted the same time as 2NE1 and Secret were also launched, but she was always on the back congratulating the artists who always rank the top spot. She almost seems like used to it that she calls it her "daily routine", emphasizing how such incidents made her addicted with numbers and rankings.

Rumors about her "retirement" even flocked online and this made NS Yoon-G think that maybe being an artist is not really meant for her. This stops her from going outside as she fears being pitied by the people. Shortly after, the "If You Love Me" singer was diagnosed with stress-induced Oto lithiasis, an inner ear condition associated with dizziness.

However, seeing more fans happy made her happy as well, thus she returned to Korea promising that she will evaluate herself to her own standards, rather than relying on anyone else.
