Fans are heavily criticizing an Indian film "Kannayya" after they realized that several songs in the OST were rip offs of EXO's popular tracks. The said film is currently being accused of plagiarism as fans demanded that the songs are removed and an official apology be released for plagiarizing the songs of the band.

As reported by some media outlets, two tracks in the OST sounded exactly like the songs released by the South Korean group. The second track on the five track OST entitled "Dhamki Maar'' is reportedly the same as EXO's "Growl." Meanwhile, the last track in the OST is a rip off of "Baby Don't Cry" but "Kannayya's" version as entitled as "Baby Kanipinchav."

Fans of the group immediately reacted and they wanted an actual apology from the people behind the OST. There is still no word from EXO's agency SM Entertainment and from the producer Poppin Films regarding the issue.

Meanwhile, the YouTube video for the OST has a lot of hate comments and thumbs down from enraged fans. The said songs are currently listed under "Kannaya" Original Sound Track in iTunes and this has been released on Jan. 20, 2017 by Mango Music. The said tracks are currently for sale for $1.29.

It should be noted that the group did not credit the song's original creators and performers. In the music industry, this can be taken as a huge offense and this is a serious case of plagiarism that needs to be addressed with haste. Fans are also rallying to support the group and to make sure that they get the credit due to them.

The people who were credited as the creators of the pieces are Satya Kashyap, Veeru, and Siddhu. It should be noted that EXO is not the only group struggling with plagiarism case as there were also other reports of plagiarism from other countries.
