Yoo Ah In Has Bone Tumor, UAA Entertainment Confirms

UAA Entertainment confirmed that Yoo Ah In has a bone tumor. The actor who was supposed to leave this year for his military enlistment received news that he has bone cancer and this has been confirmed by medical experts during his general checkup.

After a lot of reports emerged detailing the medical condition of the actor who gained popularity after being part of the cast of "Sungkyunkwan Scandal." He became quite popular for starring in the drama "Secret Love Affair."

According to the statement released by his agency, the medical professionals diagnosed Yoo Ah In with a bone tumor. As of the moment, however, they do not know whether the condition is serious or not. UAA Entertainment added that "This is a sensitive matter because it's a personal one."

Based on this statement it seems that they would like fans to give the actor much needed privacy. While the news comes as a great shock to Yoo Ah In's fans, it is definitely a bigger blow to the actor. The agency was quick to react to the sensitive matter.

Bone tumors commonly appear on the joints and it could develop in the bones and the cartilage. When the condition is not serious, surgical removal is an option.At the moment, this is the latest news on the medical condition of the actor.

It can be recalled that Yoo Ah In has been making preparations to enter the mandatory enlistment in South Korea. He was in the process of completing the requirements when he was diagnosed with a bone tumor.

He had an injury that affected his shoulders and this was the reason why his military service was postponed. He had to return for a repeat checkup this year so the authorities can check his application. Without a clean bill of health, he can't continue his military service and this could result to an indefinite postponement.
