Serge Ibaka

Serge Ibaka was sent to the NBA trade block by the Orland Magic, it was announced last week as the Magic wants to upgrade their roster. Serge Ibaka was sent to the trade block due to his declining performance as several reports show.

Serge Ibaka was the name that everyone never expects to be traded sooner as it gets. Ibaka was now thrown by the Magic to NBA trade block, claiming that his performance is now declining and has been a liability over the past months as per the Sporting News confirmed.

Serge Ibaka was known to be a great defender, a paint-protector, and a glass cleaner during his stint with the Thunder. Ibaka was known to be a progressing big man since his shooting was improved that he can absolutely stretch the floor due to his 3-point shooting skills.

No fans have expected that Ibaka will be sent out sooner, as he just signed with the Orlando Magic last year. And the most unexpected of all is the fact that Ibaka is not as a reliable defender at all compared to his past seasons.

In a report held by the House of Houston, some teams around the league need an improvement to their roster. The Knicks or the Raptors could be a great team to land for Ibaka, where he can join a team that needs his services.

The Orlando Magic acquired Serge Ibaka last summer in order to complete their win-now process. Unfortunately, the team failed to win more than losing this season due to the fact that they really lack consistent core players.

With the hopes that their roster is enough to compete for a playoff spot, the Magic find themselves almost at the bottom of the NBA standing. Their expectation was not met by their potential stars that show no progress and improvement this season.

The Magic will be facing the next season with another chapter of rebuilding process. It seems that the team's only hope is to take a good shot at the upcoming lottery and start rebuilding again.
