The hopes of seeing the rumored upcoming "Skate 4" ends now as the Electronic Arts confirmed that they have no plans to revive the game. This could be a very sad news for all the fans of the series since it may seem that the Skate series will no longer continue at all.

The GameSpot reported that the "Skate 4" is not part of the EA's plan as of the moment. This is a response to the widely spreading rumor about the return of the Skate series in the video game industry.

A hashtag "Skate 4" was posted via Tweeter last week that began a speculation about a new sequel. The game was last seen in 2010 with the release of Skate 3, it was not a massive success, but it really captures the interest of skateboarding fans due to its unexpected good features.

Andrew Wilson, the CEO of Electronic Arts quickly responded to this matter to cut the hopes and rumors about a new "Skate 4" game. They claim that they have nothing to do with the rumored message and it seems that the posted Tweet is an internal pitch.

As the Trusted Reviews said in their report, as the EA announced that they are not presently working on a new "Skate 4" video game, this really proves that fans had a very limited selection when it comes to Skateboarding genre.

Skate series offers a more realistic Skateboarding video game adaptation compared to its competitors. Though the series was overshadowed by the legendary Tony Hawk Series, still Skate wins due to its overall features.

As of today, the only option is to continue playing the last sequel of the Skate series or turning the heads back to the Tony Hawk Pro Skater series. The Tony Hawk Pro Skate 5 was one of the worst game ever created as is sitting the bottom of the top rated games worldwide.
