Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani are back as a couple in the upcoming new edition of The Voice Season 12 on February 27 on ETC. The lovely pair shares some jokes about them "hooking up" before becoming lovers.

The show may be one of the most sentimental things that happened to both Shelton and Stefani. They were both sitting on the big red chair while their personal lives have been publicized.

Shelton and ex-wife Miranda Lambert divorce on July 2015 while the show was on the air. One the other hand, Stefani shocked her fans after filing divorce papers against her now former husband, Gavin Rossdale.

The former has been married for four years while the No Doubt singer was committed for 13 years. Both experienced difficult times but who would have thought that a romance will bloom between the two?

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, Shelton and Stefani jokes about "hooking up" during the interview for The Voice Season 12. The ska queen exclaimed her advantage as one of the judges and revealed some of her possible tactics to lure the contestants into joining her team.

"I just did a country song with Blake Shelton," she says. "I got the hookup!" Then, Shelton answered back: "That is so inappropriate to talk about us hooking up," he gushed.

Aside from the power couple, Alicia Keys and Adam Levine will also be sitting in the red chair for The Voice Season 12.

Meanwhile, Shelton's ex-wife Miranda Lambert admitted that she was binge-drinking after her separation with the country singer. But she also told the crowd that she got inspiration from the heartbreak and wrote a song about it, notes Fox News.

But will there be a chance that Lambert would appear in The Voice Season 12? That could be a shocking surprise but let us find out soon.
