Ricky Rubio found himself in the NBA trade block since last week as the Minnesota Timberwolves are currently shopping him. Rubio was recently linked to a potential trade to the Detroit Pistons, is now being attached to a trade involving the Rajon Rondo of the Chicago Bulls.

The latest NBA trade rumors involve Ricky Rubio of the Timberwolves and Rajon Rondo of the Chicago Bulls. According to the iSports Times, the Minnesota Timberwolves are currently shopping Ricky Rubio.

The report shows that the Chicago Bulls have an interest to on Ricky Rubio over the past weeks. Rubio seemed to be the point guard that the Bulls need in order to execute those types of plays that the team is using.

Ricky Rubio is performing well this season, especially this 2017. Though his shooting from the 3-point line is not a work in progress, he still managed to contribute well in the Timberwolves' offense as he can run the floor well.

Rubio had an average of 13.2 points and 14 assists during his first 5 games in the opening of 2017. Rubio had a consistent night on the free-throw line with over 90% shooting and is being commended on his perimeter shooting during his last couple of games.

It was being said that the Timberwolves would possibly trade Rubio anytime once they saw an improvement to their future franchise point guard Kriss Dunn. Though Dunn is still working on his consistency, is seems that the Timberwolves are now willing to send Rubio out of the team.

Meanwhile, Rajon Rondo and the Bulls are obviously not on the same page. Rondo found himself spending more minutes on the bench, as oppose to his expected role before he signed with the Bulls.

A press release from the Forbes suggests that Rajon Rondo would basically fit with the Timberwolves' type of play. The Timberwolves is known to run the floor on a fast-paced, where they are moving the ball quickly and are not using the shot clock at all times.

Fans still need to wait for any update coming from both of the teams. After all, the NBA trade deadline is still far and the teams involved still has a lot of time to plan their move.
