"Prison Break" Season 5 has finally completed its production and is ready for its big and hitting comeback on 20th Century Fox Television Network. The premiere is expected to be aired on April 4, 2017, as announced during the Television Critics Association winter press tour of Fox. This time around the original casts Miller, Purcell, Callies and many others will have a great reunion.
In a report by Deadline, the trailer of "Prison Break" Season 5 has been released by Fox on January 11, 2017. During the 24-hour period, the trailer has got a tremendous amount of viewers with a total of 42 million views on Facebook, Twitter, and Youtube. This is the biggest number that Fox has for a series in its TV platform history.
"Prison Break" Season 5 has been ordered for 9 episodes and will cast the same casts of the previous seasons. It can be recalled that the series was aired on Fox from 2005 to 2009. The creator and showrunner remains to be Paul Scheuring. Wentworth Miller will play as Michael Scofield, Dominic Purcell as Lincoln Burrows according to Denofgeek.
"Prison Break" Season 5 will be aired on 20th Century Fox TV on April 4, 2017, at 9 PM. Spoilers for the series revealed two of the original casts will not be returning. William Fichtner will no longer play the role of Agent Mahone, while Jodi Lyn O'Keefe will not be appearing as Gretchen Morgan.
