Speculations about the upcoming "House of Cards" Season 5 have been making rounds until now due to the scarce of details about the upcoming series. Now, new reports are claiming that the fifty installments might be released soon.

Den of Geek reported that "House of Cards" Season 5 might premiere on Feb. 24 or March 3. The news outlet based the predicted date on the fact that the previous installments were released in February.

Netflix is said to be fond of surprises, which could be the main reason why no official details about its release have been made public until now. Speculations have it that the network might announce the official "House of Cards" Season 5 release date few days before its premiere.

Aside from the official release date, fans are also wondering if there will be new characters gracing the show. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Campbell Scott and Patricia Clarkson are going to appear in the upcoming "House of Cards" Season 5.

Though their roles are yet to be known, THR has confirmed that the "Pieces of April" actress and the "Royal Pains" actor are going to make the upcoming installment more exciting. Both Campbell Scott and Patricia Clarkson are yet to release their official statements about their inclusion in the upcoming "House of Cards" Season 5.

As for the plot, Michael Kelly has divulged that someone if going to depart in "House of Cards" Season 5. However, the actor refused to give any further details about this.

"You lose characters that you love. We almost lost Frank, and I always have faith in the writers that no matter what road we go down, we're going to come back to what the show is," Michael Kelly hinted of the "House of Cards" Season 5 plot.
