'Street Fighter V' Beta Announced For Second Phase; PS4 And PC Releases Confirmed!

The "Street Fighter V" beta second phase for PS4 and PC is coming up and announced by Capcom. The details for the schedule and more are listed.

The second beta phase of upcoming "Street Fighter V" will be open for testing. A beta tester can try it out on Oct. 21 at 6 p.m. PT. The playable characters for the second beta phase will be Necalli, Ken, R. Mika, and Vega. Other characters like Ryu, Nash, Chun-Li, M.Bison, Birdie, and Cammy cannot be played, according to IGN Africa.

On Oct. 22, Capcom will take down the servers to give them maintenance for 12 hours long, according to Gematsu. On the next day, the servers will be back online and another playable character will be unlocked for the "Street Fighter V" beta second phase which is Rashid. On that day, the cross-platform play will also be unlocked for both PC and PS4. After a while, another character will be unlocked, which is Karin.

On Oct. 24, servers will be down again for maintenance. This time it will take 10 hours to do it. After that, the servers will be back online again. After a few hours, the beta phase will be concluded.

The beta of the game will have ranked matchmaking, leaderboards combined from PS4 and PC players, and able to search for other players and view the profiles, according to Gamespot. Capcom also will add another feature where you can find new items to unlock with Fight Money currency. You have to remember that after the beta phase, everything on the servers will be erased.

A beta tester can only gain entry of the beta phase if he or she pre ordered the game.

The publisher also reminded beta testers that the "Street Fighter V" beta second phase is just a beta version of the game so anyone can encounter bugs. The data collected from the beta will be used to optimize the final product, according to sources.
