B1A4’s Baro To Play A Visually Impaired Man In Web Movie 'Closing My Eyes'
So it's confirmed! Baro landed a lead role in an upcoming web movie about a visually impaired man.
It's the first time that Baro will play the role of a visually impaired man but with his superb acting on the 2014 SBS drama 'God's Gift - 14 Days', fans are confident that he can perform the role well. The idol, in fact, received a critical acclaim for his role on the said drama.
'God's Gift - 14 Days' tells the story of a mother, whose young daughter gets kidnapped and murdered, who gained the ability to go back in time exactly two weeks before the incident.
In the said drama, Baro played the role of a developmentally disabled teenage boy with the mental age of a six-year-old. He played the said role quite effectively that fans are confident that he can play the role of a visually impaired man in the upcoming web movie 'Closing My Eyes' very well, too.
Baro debuted in April 2011 as part of the WM Entertainment's boy group B1A4. Consisting the group, aside from Baro who is the group's main rapper, are Jinyoung (leader, vocalist), CNU (vocalist, rapper), Sandeul (main vocalist), and Gongchan (vocalist). They debuted with the single 'O.K.' and, so far, released 2 studio albums, 6 EPs, and various singles.
Aside from appearing in short films, Baro had been a part of various dramas in the past, as well. Aside from 'God's Gift - 14 Days', he also played main characters on tvN's 'Reply 1994' (2013) and MBC's 'Angry Mom' (2015). But it was really his role in 'God's Gift - 14 Days' that earned him a remarkable reputation in acting.
