Fans have all the reason to celebrate as the new "GTA 5" mod is about to come that will access to the Liberty City. OpenIV team of the modding community is about to release the "GTA 5" mod that features the GTA 4 Liberty City.

The Game Rant held a report showing that the new "GTA 5" mod to come will feature the Liberty City from the GTA 4 game title. OpenIV modding team is proud to present their finished project that they have been working for over a year.

This genius team will add the Liberty City to the "GTA 5," meaning the existing and original Los Santos City will not be replaced. OpenIV is pretty smart, that they are able to add the Liberty City to the latest game installment of the Grand Theft Auto series.

Players may now be able to relieve the beauty and horizons of the Liberty City, which will be accessible just across the ocean of the Los Santos. The mod will not be appearing to the PlayStation and Xbox, it will be an exclusive mod for Windows PC.

However, the UK Express confirmed that fans would need to have the GTA 4 installed on their PC. Players need to download the tool and program provided by the OpenIV team. The tool will convert the Liberty City files from the GTA 4 and will extract the files to the "GTA 5" folder. Such a very smart idea for the team to come up with this method.

In this case, fans who want to play the "GTA 5" Liberty City Mod will need to reinstall the GTA 4. It may seem to be a long installation, but it is sure to be worth the wait.

The release of the "GTA 5" Liberty City hasn't been announced yet. The team is expected to launch the mod earlier this year.
