Ji Chang Wook and YoonA's chemistry on the recently ended tvN drama "The K2" was undeniable that fans began to wonder if the two are actually dating in real life.  That's how all of these Ji Chang-Wook YoonA dating rumors started.

In a recent interview with dongA, the actor had the chance to address the issue.

"The dating rumors involving YoonA are not true," the actor said to clarify the whole Ji Chang Wook-YoonA dating rumors.

Ji Chang Wook said it was purely work for them. He and YoonA just found the rumors hilarious and they just laugh it off.

"I just worked hard and, again, a lot of people came to misunderstand this time. So I thought, 'Again?' and just laughed. I've also talked to YoonA about these rumors and we just laughed it off," the actor added.

"I always try to be very considerate of the actress. I think good acting results when working together in a comfortable environment. And that also helps to increase the viewers' focus but that tends to lead to misunderstandings. I think that's what happened again this time. There isn't anything special between YoonA and me. It'll be perfect to describe us as close oppa-dongsaeng," the actor even added to further deny the whole Ji Chang Wook YoonA dating rumors.

'The K2' tells the story of a mercenary soldier-turned-bodyguard (Ji Chang Wook) who was hired to protect the hidden daughter of a presidential candidate (YoonA). The drama was aired on tvN from September 23 - November 12, 2016. It received favorable reviews, topping cable channel viewership ratings throughout its 8-week broadcast. The actors also received a lot of praises from the fans. The viewers seem to find their acting very good.
