ZARA Korea’s chief criticized for ridiculing anti-Park protesters during a recent public lecture.

This is probably the most critical moment in Park's presidency. There's an estimate of more than 500,000 people gathered in an anti-Presidential rally today, November 12, 2016, at Gwanghwamun Square. The rally being held just a few blocks away from Cheong Wa Dae made it possible for Park to hear everything from the presidential office. The protesters are shouting with "Down with Park Geun-hye!" hoping to make Park step down from her office.

Ever since that Choi Soon-sil scandal broke out, people had been asking the president to step down from her office. But Park was ignoring the growing public calls for her to quit. But with more than 500,000 people gathered in an anti-Presidential rally right now, she must have already realized the people's desire to oust her.

All three opposition parties have decided to join the 500,000 people gathered in an anti-Presidential rally today. Democratic Party of Korea (DPK), The People's Party, and Justice Party are all there to raise the pressure on Park. They have insisted that the president did not only lost the trust of the people of Korea but the neighboring countries', as well. Thus, there's no more reason for her to stay in her office as it will only cause further commotion that will be bad for the country.

"President-elect Trump cannot save Park," said DPK Chairwoman Rep. Choo Mi-ae. "Diplomacy is the key to deciding the fate of the country - especially for a country like us that has been influenced by major nations. It makes no sense for Park, viewed as unqualified by the public, seeks to keep a grip on diplomacy."

With more than 500,000 people gathered in an anti-Presidential rally today, it is only clear that the nation is united as one in demanding one thing: for Park to give up control of diplomatic, military and domestic affairs and to hand it over to a new prime minister selected by the National Assembly.
