An article written in allkpop stated that in an interview with Herald Pop, idol turned actor Lee Joon talked about his difficulties with acting and how he was able to manage the negative feedback on his role in the hit comedy movie "Lucky."

The article provided the English translation of the interview. Lee Joon reportedly said, "I used to think like this - all the idols are now acting, but I am not getting parts even though I want to act, and I am asking to be cast. Honestly, after 'Ninja Assassin,' I had a lot of confidence. I thought I should be able to do a lot of acting gigs from that point. I had good reviews from the movie, and I was happy. However, I could not do any acting for years."

The actor also said that his parts in the movies "Customer" and "Lucky" were edited out a lot, but he stated that he did not get from that. He added, "It is for the whole movie, and editing is expected if I do not do a good job. I am just thankful that they let me be in this movie. I do not get offended by editing."

Regarding his role in the hit comedy movie "Lucky," the actor said, "Many people said that my parts in 'Lucky' were boring after seeing the movie. I was worried and became a little less confident. But it is okay because it is not like I did not put in the effort."

Lee Joon also explained that he did intend to steal the spotlight of the movie from the leading actor. "I did everything I could. But if viewers say that I am boring, then I must own up to it. I am rather sorry to the viewers, and I want to try harder to get better."

The actor concluded, "The movie itself, I enjoyed. Personally, I liked it. Because I was in it, I was not bored. I can watch a close-up of me for one hour without getting bored, but if the movie watchers say it was boring, then it is. If I deny it, there will be no growth."
