MAMAMOO Looks Fierce and Fun in 'New York' MV

To the sadness of the fans, it has been confirmed that Eric Nam and MAMAMOO’s Solar to leave ‘We Got Married’.

MAMAMOO recently teased fans with a short video of their upcoming digital song "New York."

On Sept. 14, a teaser from the girl band's new music video "New York" was published on their official SNS channels.

The new clip also shows the four members' transformation with their new style and look. They appeared like real New Yorkers with their red and black voguish and girly attire.

Solar, Moonbyul, Wheein and Hwasa also showed humor as they walked through the alleys and rode a snack car while they drink wine.I t showed the girls' fierce and unfriendly look followed by partying and laughter, Soompi reported. This shows how mature the band has become since their debut in 2014.

The commencement of MAMAMOO's return is all set on Sept. 21 with the hip track "New York." Their official comeback would be on October.

MAMAMOO debuted two years ago with the song "Mr. Ambiguous" under Rainbow Bridge World. The song was regarded as one of the best debut tracks in 2014. The band's genre falls into retro, R&B and jazz category powered by their strong vocals.

The band has been active this year with multiple songs on chart. Earlier this year, they released "I Miss You," "1 cm / Taller than You," and their first number one hit "You're the Best." The girls also won their first Inkigayo, Music Bank and M! Countdown win with the said single.

Last month, they released singles from subgroups "Angel" and "Dab Dab" performed by Solar and Wheein as vocalists and Moonbyul and Hwasa as rappers.

MAMAMOO is with a hectic schedule this year as they will also represent South Korea in the upcoming Asia Song Festival on Oct. 9 at the Busan Asiad Main Stadium, All Kpop reported. The festival has been running since 2004 and is organized by the Korea Foundation for International Culture Exchange.
