Girl band DIA released their Harry Potter themed third album "Spell" last Sept. 12.

According to members, the album with seven tracks was inspired by J.K. Rowling's best selling book "Harry Potter."

This is the Kpop group's second record this 2016. Last June, their sophomore album "Happy Ending" under MBK Entertainment gained popularity all over the country.

"Spell" marks the first anniversary of the seven-member band since their career debut. As part of the celebration, the songs included in the album were released online on Sept. 14.

"Mr. Potter," the album's main track is an upbeat song that features synthesized sound and categorized as a dance-pop music. Fans witnessed the members transformed from girly to strong and mysterious with this track.

In a press release at the Blue Square Samsung Card Hall, member Hui Hyeon said that "we wanted to show that DIA does not stick to one image and can appeal with various concepts." In the music video, they played witches which is extremely different from their debut appearance, Korea Times reported.

The album's fifth track "The Love" was co-written by all members and speaks of the band's gratitude for their supporters. The music video was shot with DIA's fans.

DIA's debut album and meaning of the band's abbreviated name "Do It Amazing" was released on Sept. 2015. It landed on number 11 on Korean album charts, Inquisitr reported.

The public started recognizing the group when former member Chaeyeon appeared on "Produce 101," an idol reality program.

Chaeyeon and the top 12 casts of the program formed a group called I.O.I. However, her agency reunited her with DIA to boost the band's popularity. Chaeyeon is also set to join a drama program titled "Drinking Solo."

DIA is composed of Eunice, Jenny, Huihyeon, Eunjin, Yebin, Eunchae and Chaeyeon.
