During the first script reading for his new fantasy drama entitled "Goblin," actor Gong Yoo admitted that he still cherishes his drama "Coffee Prince" which was shown in South Korea and other countries ten years ago.

DramaFever reported that the actor could not help but reminisce old times filming his hit drama a decade ago.

The handsome actor said, "It has already been 10 years. I am not sure if you will believe me or not, but the drama would have meant as much to me whether or not it did well. Everyone in Coffee Prince wanted each other to do well. No one was selfish, and it was a set where we all had fun. That kind of atmosphere is hard to come by, and to have experienced it as an actor, I am very thankful. I hope [Goblin] is the same."

In his latest drama, Gong Yoo will play the role of a goblin named Kim Jin. His character wishes his immortal life to end, so in order to fulfill this, he must marry a human bride. As part of his curse, he has to live with a grim reaper, played by another handsome actor Lee Dong Wook, who has amnesia.

Kim Go Eun will play the role of a high school girl named Ji Eun Tak, the bride that the goblin is searching for. Sunny, an eccentric chicken restaurant owner, will be played by actress Yoo In Na, while BTOB's Yook Sungjae takes the role of Yoo Duk Hwa, a chaebol.

During the script reading, a production staff said, "Writer Kim Eun Sook and producing director Lee Eung Bok took the lead. The script read-through was passionate and the actors all matched well together. We have confidence that we can make a production that will conclude 2016 with a flourish."

The drama will start filming on Thursday and will be aired on tvN in December following Ji Chang Wook and Yoona's "The K2."
