Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson shared with his fans on Instagram a first look at his character in the upcoming Jumanji sequel.  Based on the Movie Web's post, The Rock will play as Dr. Bravestone.

Johnson shared the concept art of his character last Thursday morning revealing his costume which had been inspired from Harrison Ford's Indiana Jones.

Johnson humorously labeled the image "The Smoldering Dr. Bravestone."

Here is what the Rock said about the instagram post:

"EXCLUSIVE FIRST LOOK: Concept art of my #JUMANJI character. "The Smoldering" Dr. Bravestone. (not sure where my pecs went;). This is gonna be fun.. Me, @kevinhart4real, Jack Black,@NickJonas and the Ginger Assassin@karengillanofficial can't wait to "play the game that plays you". #JUMANJI#DrBravestone #KingOfTheSmolder#TheAdventureContinues."

The Instagram post has had 412,000 likes so far.

According to Movie Web, fans were apprehensive when it was revealed that a new Jumanji movie was being made, but many concerns were put to rest when it was revealed that the movie would indeed be a sequel and not a reboot.

The Rock will team up with his Central Intelligence co-star Kevin Hart, alongside with Jack Black, Nick Jonas and Doctor Who star Karen Gillan, who Johnson lovingly referred to as "the Ginger Assassin."

No reports has been made if whether any of the original cast of the first film will make an appearance but apparently the movie will pay tribute to the late Robin Williams who was the lead male role in the original.

Jake Kasdan is the director of the Jumanji sequel with a script from Scott Rosenberg.

The original Jumanji was a runaway blockbuster hit in 1995, earning $262 million worldwide from a $65 million production budget.

Sony is planning to release the Jumanji sequel on July 28, 2017.
