Beauty and the Beast Sneak Preview of Cogsworth and Lumiere
Beloved Classic
On March 17 next year, Disney will launch one of its most beloved classic fairy tale, Beauty and the Beast as a live-action film remake of the original animated movie.
Harry Potter Star Emma Watson will play as Belle, while Dan Stevens takes the role of the formidable monster Beast. Eight-time Oscar winner Alan Menken who wrote songs for the original film returns along with three new songs.
A teaser trailer had been released earlier this year and fans all over the world were extremely delighted to finally see a preview of the beloved film.
Nonetheless the teaser did not reveal much about the other characters of the movie.
Never Before Seen Preview Images
Luckily, the original Disney classic is getting a 25th Anniversary Blu-ray edition this coming September 19 and within it are never-before-seen preview images of the live-action movie.
The sneak preview images of the much awaited film appeared in Movie Web revealing how some of the iconic the characters would look like in the film.
Fan get to see for the very first time the talking clock Cogsworth and the debonair candlestick Lumiere. Ian McKellen, who also played Gandalf in the Lord of the Rings, will voice Cogsworth while Ewan McGregor will give life to Lumiere.
There were also photos of Dan Stevens the actor who will play the film's formidable Beast and the film's antagonist duo -the audacious Gaston, played by Luke Evans and the servile Le Fou, played Josh Gad.
The Beauty and the Beast live action remake has Bill Condon at the director's helm who is working with a very talented host of voice actors lead by Kevin Kline who plays as Belle's father Maurice, Emma Thompson as the motherly teapot Mrs. Potts and Stanley Tucci as a grand piano named Cadenza.
Stephen Chbosky was responsible for the film's script while Mandeville Films' David Hoberman and Todd Lieberman acted as producers.
