Netizens Furious with Former B2ST Member Jang Hyunseung and His Crew on 'Hit The Stage'

According to allkpop, the controversy began following the discovery of the netizens that on the most recent airing of Mnet's "Hit The Stage," on which the former B2ST member Jang Hyunseung is one of the competitors, Hyunseung and his dance crew seemed to mock and made fun of his former group.

Netizens were fast to create a gif of the show where Hyunseung is trying out shoulder pads with his dance crew for their upcoming stage performance. It also shows that after stuffing their shirts with pads, the dance crew began dancing. Their dance shows a move similar to the choreography of B2ST's song "Ribbon."

This angered the netizens and accused the crew of making fun of the idol group's song and choreography. They also pointed out that Hyunseung did not do anything to stop his dance crew from doing the offensive gestures.

As the controversy becomes viral in various online communities, fans started to swarm the idol's Instagram, demanding that the singer gives feedback or explanation regarding the issue.

To make matters worse, one netizen who supposedly tried to get in touch with Hyunseung through his Instagram account received a direct reply. However, the alleged response that he got from the singer was not of good taste. A screenshot of the supposed direct message reply from Hyunseung shows a middle finger up emoticon and the singer's Instagram username.

Because of this, Korean netizens, B2uties (which is the idol group B2ST's fan club name), and even fans of other South Korean groups and personalities , took to Twitter their sentiments and actively voiced out their disappointment with Hyunseung and his dance crew's "rude" actions in the most recent episode of the "Hit The Stage." Netizens and commenters used the hashtag #장현승_탈퇴해줘서_고마워with serious and sarcastic comments pertaining to the issue.
