Trump Says He'd Meet Kim Jong-un Over Burgers to Discuss Nuclear Weapons Program

Presumptive US Republican Presidential nominee, Donald Trump, made comments suggesting that he would meet with North Korea leader, Kim Jong-un to convince him to end his nuclear weapons program. 

The comments were made on Wednesday during a rally in Atlanta. 

"Who the hell cares? I'll speak to anybody. Who knows?" Trump said, according to United Press International. He also mentioned that their engagement would not be in North Korea, but in the US; a simple gathering over hamburgers. 

"I wouldn't go there, that I can tell you," Trump said. "If he came here, I'd accept him, but I wouldn't give him a state dinner like we do for China and all these other people that rip us off when we give them these big state dinners.

"We give them state dinners like you've never seen. We shouldn't have dinners at all. We should be eating a hamburger on a conference table, and we should make better deals with China and others."

According to an article by the Korea Times, Trump ultimately believes his attempt at successfully convincing Kim to rid of the nuclear weapons plan would be "low."
