France's first K-pop festival, KCON, concluded on Thursday night. The festival included special guests including South Korean President Park Geun-hye.

The one-day event was hosted by CJ E&M and included about 13,500 fans to the Accor Hotels Arena in Paris. The lineup of performers included SHINee, f(x), Bangtan Boys, Block B, F.T. Island and I.O.I. Vendors at the events included the South Korean Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and also the Korea Creative Content Agency.

"This year's KCON Paris contributed a lot to the global spread of Korean culture, particularly due to the attendance of President Park Geun-hye and the 130th anniversary of Korea-France diplomatic ties," CJ E&M said in a press release.

CJ E&M will host the next KCON in Los Angeles in July and in New York in late June.
