June Kang To Host British Embassy Party for U.K. Queen's Birthday

June Kang has been selected as the mistress of ceremonies for Queen Elizabeth II's 90th birthday party at the British Embassy. The host, best known as actor Choi Min-soo's wife, says she is honored to take on the role. 

Kang, according to a report from Chosun Ilbo, reported that she had been asked to serve in the event after 12 years of being a PR representative at an international school in Seoul. The school is a member of the British Chamber of Commerce.

Kang is also a Canadian citizen and the director of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Korea. The head of state in Canada is the queen. 

Chosun reports that this year's birthday party for the U.K. queen is the biggest bash yet with about 400 invited guest. The celebration is set to take place on Saturday.
