Asia Model Festival 2016 to Be Held in Suwon

The 11th Asia Model Festival will be held in Suwon, South Korea as part of Visit Suwon Year events. 

The festival is considered to be Asia's biggest beauty and culture event and will include 125 models from 25 Asian countries. The event will kick off on May 15 and go on until May 21. A report from Yonhap News suggests there will be three categories including "the 2016 Asia News Star Model Contest, the 2016 Asia Mi (beauty) Festival and the 2016 Asia Model Awards."

The events will be centered on Asian fashion and beauty industries and it will also be an opportunity for Asian models and artists to participate in fashion shows and more to promote themselves. 

The Asian Model Festival will be one of the main events of Visit Suwon Year.
