Harry Styles Chops Off Hair to Donate to Charity

One Direction singer, Harry Styles, has appeared to have chopped off his famous locks. The 22-year-old crooner has yet to reveal his new look, but assured fans that it was for a charitable cause. 

Harry Styles posted a photo recently on Instagram with his famous ponytail in his hands. The caption read: "Whoops," and included "#Littleprincesstrust."

The Little Princess Trust is a British charity that offers wigs made from human hair to children who have lost their hair due to cancer treatment.  

One Direction is settling into a hiatus. The band is putting the breaks on their work as a group. However, the hiatus is for an indefinite amount of time and even Simon Cowell isn't sure if they will really ever come back together. 

"I don't know if it's a hiatus or a breakup, to be honest," he said in an interview with Billboard. "In a weird way, I don't want to know. I don't think they've had enough time to experience what it's like not being in the group to really answer that." 

Cowell added: "Whenever I was with them, we talked about it, and I couldn't argue with them," He said, referring to the band's hiatus. "They had achieved so much in a short period of time, and I didn't want them to get jaded. As I've gotten older, I've learned to trust people more, particularly artists. They'll decide when they want to come back together."
