Actor Song Joong-ki, 30, has become one of the hottest actors in K-dramas after the success of the TV show, "Descendants of the Sun." Song has been in high demand to endorse many products and appear in commercials.

"There is intense competition among advertisers to secure endorsement deals with him," said an advertising company staffer, according to Chosun.

"Most importantly, all of the products Song advertises have seen an increase in sales, without exception," said a staffer at another company.

According to iTech Post, Song signed a record-breaking two-year endorsement deal with a Chinese cosmetic brand called "Proya Cosmetics." According to the publication, the estimated income from the endorsement is expected to be $4.7 million.

Although Song is taking a short break from acting to prepare for his next project, the competition for endorsements has kept his on the move.
