Fans of "The Walking Dead," brace yourselves: finally, Glenn has human blood in his hands.

Yes, the former pizza delivery boy has done the unthinkable, and that is to kill another human being, according to The Hollywood Reporter

This development may seem like a letdown to followers of the "The Walking Dead" series, as Glenn has managed to confine his survival (killing) skills on the walkers.

But in the show's last episode, its well-loved hero was forced to take a human life after joining the Rick-led Alexandrian group in attacking the Saviors' camp.

The episode could be considered a major turning point for "The Walking Dead" season 6, as it now only saw Glenn spoil his hands with human blood, but turned out to be one of the series' most intense "human-to-human combat" sequences to date.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, executive producer Greg Nicotero revealed that the show is in the process of establishing what the Saviors are capable of doing.

"The moment Glenn kills his first and second person and he looks up on the wall and we see Polaroids and all those people with their heads bashed in - which could resemble a baseball bat - we're more and more getting a sense of who these guys are," Nicotero explained.

Asked on why it has only been at the point that creative team behind "The Walking Dead" has decided to turn Glenn into a human slayer, the executive producer gave a practical answer.

"Why now? I think Glenn has been pretty fortunate at this point to avoid having to kill someone but it's been decided by the group that this is what they need to do to survive," he said.

In the meantime, the storyline of "The Walking Dead" season 6 is turning out to be "eerily close to the graphic novel," Celebrity Dirty Laundry has observed.

With the "miraculous" appearance of Jesus' (Tom Payne) and Carl Grimes (Chandler Riggs) losing one of his eyes, two major character deaths could take place as the season leads to a violent finale on April 3.

Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) is expected to appear in the final episodes of "The Walking Dead" season 6, as his barbed-wired bat named Lucille is anticipated to deliver the death blow on Glenn.
