Hayden Christensen Still Training For Latest 'Star Wars' Role? Obi Wan, Darth Vader Set To Return To Episode VIII

Fans of the "Star Wars" movie franchise are maybe dancing with joy as it was reported that the production of "Episode VIII" is already set to start. Even more good news is that Hayden Christensen is beginning his training now for an appearance in the next film installment.

During the British Academy of Film and Television Arts, John Boyega playing the character of Finn shared and confirmed that they are now starting to shoot the next "Star Wars".

"I'm going to be honest with you, I'm running on fumes here. I start work tomorrow, I have a 6 A.M. pickup. I'm due to be in the car and go straight to do the whole 'Star Wars' stuff again, so tomorrow is my first day," Boyega shared.

In addition to it, there have been rumors that Christensen and Ewan McGregor have been approached to reprise Anakin and Obi-Wan respectively.

Furthermore, according to a report, a team in the United Kingdom are soon heading to the United States to begin training Christensen for an appearance of some sort in "Star Wars: Episode VIII".

This may cause confusion to some fans as Christensen's character, Anakin Skywalker who eventually became Darth Vader was killed on the movie franchise and McGregor's Obi Wan Kenobi was among the fallen Jedis, too.

In a report, Rian Johnson will be directing and also the scriptwriter for the next "Star Wars Episode VIII" and known to be very excited for the next franchise.

"I'm just starting into it, but so far, honestly, it's the most fun I''ve ever had writing. It''s just joyous. But also for me personally, I grew up not just watching those movies but playing with those toys, so as a little kid, the first movies I was making in my head were set in this world. A big part of it is that direct connection, almost like an automatic jacking back into childhood in a weird way. But I don't know, ask me again in a few years and we'll be able to talk about that," he stressed out.

For now, no one still knows whether Hayden Christensen or even Ewan McGregor will appear on the next "Star Wars" installment. For now fans needs to wait until December 15, 2017 when "Star Wars Episode VIII" will hit theatres, while "Star Wars: Rogue One" spin-off movie is coming to cinemas this December 14.
