Miranda Lambert Scoffs At Mushy Reports Involving Ex-Husband Blake Shelton & Gwen Stefani?
A few months after announcing her divorce with husband Gavin Rossdale, Gwen Stefani seems to be having the time of her life with Blake Shelton, as chronicled in various news reports.
Is Miranda Lambert cringing at the mushy news articles written about her ex-husband and the No Doubt singer?
It has been recently been reported that Gwen Stefani purportedly wrote the song "Make Me Like You" for Blake Shelton, who she has been dating since last fall.
"It is, actually," Gwen Stefani reportedly said when she appeared as a guest star in "Jimmy Kimmel Live," as quoted by Huffington Post. "I will admit that that song is about that guy, yeah."
The vocalist also talked about her album while relating it to turning "tragedy" into "something beautiful," sparking speculations that her new songs are about moving on from her failed marriage with her ex-husband.
"What's so crazy is like, sometimes tragedy, if you really absorb it, you can turn it into something beautiful, and this whole album is really about just trying to take something that's awful and just, I don't know, healing from it," Gwen Stefani told Kimmel, as quoted by TIME.
Aside from admitting that she wrote a song for her current boyfriend, there are reports that Gwen Stefani didn't let distance prevent her from supporting Blake Shelton.
Apparently, Stefani viewed Shelton's recent Detroit concert through Facetime.
"A guy standing next to me at the Blake concert was FaceTiming Gwen Stefani, so that's pretty cool," Twitter user Kevin Nisun wrote, as quoted by People.
Are these mushy love stories about "The Voice" collagues making Shelton's ex-wife, Miranda Lambert, cringe?
Though Miranda Lambert is keeping mum on Shelton and Stefani's romance, it has been previously reported that at the moment, the "Somethin' Bad" singer's focus is on her career.
"She really loves her career and touring. She has the ability to go and record albums when she wants and to tour," a source told Page Six in an earlier report.
Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert announced their divorce July of last year, while Gwen Stefani and her ex-husband Gavin Rossdale announced their split a few weeks after.
